I understand you 1000% .. I just went through a serious time of depression .. Mines usually stems from being away from Barbados too long .. Even my hemoglobin and WBC count goes below normal range , so I know my environment affects me .. When I reach back BIM, I’m in no more pain, anemia diminishes and I have way more energy .. I had to tell my family I’m torn and I would prefer just being back in BIM permanently versus just 3-4 months throughout the year .. My little country life in Bathsheba is much more appealing than being NYC .. Being out in the sea or simply gardening is what makes me happy and I can’t get that do in NYC .. I understand as well I won’t make good money like if I was in the states and I’m okay with that .. Thank you for sharing and helping me find confidence in being relatable ..

God, the US is really pushing their BS onto Bajans and it's disgusting. US media has just infiltrated the media here and ruining people. I've lived in the States for years and trust me when I say Bajan news is using the US model to turn this country into a corporatocracy for maximum profit. From covering school sports, news stories about people calling for things no one IRL has ever asked for, claiming you have to apologize to fringe, sometimes criminal groups of people, claiming you need to compensate them, letting kids in school get away with murder... You're not depressed. Turn the TV off, mute the commercials on the internet. Are they running pharmaceutical ads down there all the time too? Shut that off or mute it.
